A Lazy Sunday Morning with French Toast…

October 3rd, 2010

I love cooking… yep, I know, that’s a shock!  I cooked a delicious dinner yesterday for my friends…

It was going to be for the third round of Project Food Blog but unfortunately I didn’t make it…but no matter, I cooked anyway. It was a lovely day of chopping, dicing, simmering, stirring, tasting, relaxing… I loved it!

Dinner turned out great… although I’m exhausted so you will have to wait on the photographs and recipes… This morning I made some delicious Challah French Toast from A Homemade Life… a cookbook that I’ve enjoyed reading and will soon give you a review…

Also, up soon is a giveaway.  I really appreciate everyone’s support for me for Project Food Blog and want to hold a giveaway as a thank you… so please, stay tuned!

Finally, I didn’t make the Pear-Maple Cobblers for Project Pastry Queen this weekend. However, please check out Pink Parsley for the recipe and visit the Project Pastry Queen page to see how the other bloggers did.

So, now, back to my coffee… Have a great relaxing Sunday!

Whenever I see challah french toast on the menu when I’m eating out, I always order it… Now I NEED to make my own!! I love Molly Wizenberg, so maybe I just need to buy that whole book :)

I’m so sorry you couldn’t make it but the important thing is your friends must have had a great time with that dinner…In a short time, nobody will remember this contest, but your friends will always remember what you cooked for them!
